Here’s our story


Hola! I’m Elizabeth — the “Chile” in Chile N Mango, born and raised in Mexico where food was always at the center of family, laughter, and connection. Many of the dishes we serve today are inspired by recipes, traditions, and little kitchen secrets passed down from my mamá and Titas, mixed with my own style and creativity along the way.
What started as catering, festivals, and serving tacos at events across Calgary slowly grew into something bigger than we ever imagined — and now we proudly have our own Cocina Cantina restaurant inside SunnyCider. From Mexifest and Taste of Calgary to salsa nights, tequila tastings, catering events, and busy nights at the restaurant, our goal has always stayed the same: create a place where people feel welcome, have fun, and leave happy (and full 😄).
And beside me through all of it is Marc — the “Mango.” He’s the operations guy, the organizer, the calm behind the chaos, and the sweet that balances out my spice. Together we built Chile N Mango as a family business with a lot of heart, hard work, and probably way too much tequila testing along the way.
For us, food is never just food. It’s about bringing people together, creating memories, sharing culture, and making every guest feel like part of the family.
